If you have concerns about a child or vulnerable adult in the BFC community, discuss your concerns with any of the following:
Medical Professional
Educational Professional (Teacher)
Police
If you have concerns about a child or vulnerable adult’s immediate welfare and safety, please use the out of hours service

I AM A PROFESSIONAL
If you have concerns about a child or vulnerable adult in the BFC community, discuss your concerns with your line manager or a senior colleague.
If you feel believe the individual should be referred to SSAFA's Social Care service, contact your local Social Worker or fill in a MARF (Multi Agency Referral Form) and submit it to your local Social Care department.
If you have concerns about a child or vulnerable adult’s immediate welfare and safety, please use the out of hours service

CONFIDENTIALITY
Social Workers are bound by the SSAFA FH Confidentiality Undertaking and adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 which ensures confidentiality is maintained. However in the event of Child Protection, information may need to be shared.
